Hi, DJGee here.

I’d like to introduce myself and tell you a little about who I am. I grew up with 2 older sisters who were into very different musical tastes. As I tried to establish my musical preferences I listened to lots of different styles. I was into almost everything but regular chart based pop music, listening to Electronic, Alternative, older northern soul, punk – almost anything. However, the jazz funk and soul scene seemed to pass me by and so I joined the family fairly late in life. Suffice to say, I’m still learning all the time – new artists, new songs – even new genres related to the scene.

I’ve been playing music for other people since I was quite young – doing my very first disco when I was 14 years old! I remember it well, as it was for a family friend and when we got the hall, all the sockets were of the old round pin type and our plugs were not – Panic! That was 34 years ago, we got through it and as you can see, I’m still playing out today.
