Slim is a music enthusiast who started his music collection as a Soul Boys in the Seventies. He initially teamed up to DJ at a friend's party and the DJ Slim Grooveline was formed. This eventually evolved into an internet radio show which was first aired on the now defunct station LuckySouldradio.com, which he done with Steve

Slim embraces in the main the more soulfull artists, there is a broad band of cross over in between that he delve's into and a typical playlist that could include not only sixties Jazz and soul but also dance, jazz and soulfull tunes from the intervening years right through to contemporary soulfull or jazzy house and Nu Jazz

Slim continues to play at various events and venues  in the south east including recently the Bickley Manor Soul All dayers under the name, DJ Slim.
