Hi, my name is Pete but I go under the DJ name of The Funky Soulsta. I am also known under the name of Peter Piper which I chose back in the 80's. I play soul, funky soul, jazz-funk and funky beats and have been buying and collecting music since the early 80's. I also play 88 to 90 house, Jungle and Drum and Bass, with the last two playing under the name Peter Piper

Throughout my years I have played in a various of places, and organised my own events and I used to run a sound system in the earlier days. Until recently I played a regular Thursday 8pm to 10pm slot on Back2Back Fm (as The Funky Soulsta), and did this for a year. Before I started there I was running my own station under the name of Soul Funktion London Internet Radio

I am joining JFSR to bring with me a knowledge of good quality tunes, experience in the scene both as a raver and DJ. I like to mix tunes and create a memorable atmosphere. JFSR have a great selection of DJs onboard with different styles and musical taste, and I know my style will fit in with the JFSR family
